Children’s Storytime suitable for the under fives, weekly at 3.45pm

Twickenham Library Reading Group first Tuesday of the month from 2.30 to 3.30pm. Contact the library for further details.

One-to-one IT Taster Sessions 2.30 to 4.30pm.

Tiny Tunes Preschool Music Class Term time only. Drop in to our Tiny Tunes song, rhyme and dance sessions, hide under a parachute, shake the maracas, dance with bubbles and have a sing along! 10am and 11am, pay as you go so no need to book, just drop in. Recycling service for small electrical items

You can now recycle unwanted small electrical items from your home at the library. Just place them in the dedicated recycling container on your next visit. Please note that this service is only for domestic electrical items that fit in the container. The size limit is 21cm x 19cm.

Items which can be left for recycling include:

  • Toasters
  • Kettles
  • Electric toothbrushes and tools
  • Laptops and computer keyboards
  • Desk fans
  • Desk phones and mobile phones
  • Electric shavers
  • Hair driers
  • Portable radios
  • Hi-Fi and CD players
  • DVD players
  • Bread makers
  • Slow cookers
  • Food processors, blenders/juicers and other similar items

Items that cannot be left for recycling include:

  • Hoovers
  • Microwave ovens
  • TVs and screens
  • Lawnmowers
  • Fridges or fridge freezers
  • Batteries
  • Light bulbs
  • Cables
  • Printers
