Street directories

Local directories, for example Kelly’s, are useful sources of local information. There are several different sections in these publications; the first is an alphabetical list of streets and the occupants of each property. This is followed by a list of private residents, a commercial list and a directory of different trades. These can be used to trace either the location of a particular person or the resident of a specific property.
