Sports and fitness no-show policy

Due to the ongoing issue of members not attending pre-booked sessions in both the swimming pools and group exercise studios, we have now implemented a no-show policy.

To avoid incurring charges, members must ensure they register their attendance at the centre, or cancel their booking if they cannot attend.

Registering your attendance

If you are a member of Pools on the Park or Teddington Pools and Fitness Centre, you can register your attendance by swiping your membership card at the entry gates before your booked activity.

Your Richmond Card is your membership card, if you do not have a Richmond Card please email leisure@richmond.gov.uk so that a card can be ordered.

Alternatively, please visit reception where your attendance can be recorded by staff.

Cancelling your booking

Cancel your booking if you are unable to attend the session that you have booked. 

Members must cancel their booking no later than 2 hours prior to the start time of their booking. This is to provide sufficient time for another customer to be able book and attend the activity.

Charges

When a session is booked and not cancelled in line with the above cancellation policy, a charge will be applied to the member's account.

Members will be unable to make any further bookings until the charge has been paid.

The no-show charges are:

• Swimming pool: £2
• Group exercise: £5

How to pay

You can pay any no show charges online on our web booking portal, on the LBRUT Sports App by clicking on 'My Account', or at reception in the centre.
