COVID-19: Sports update - July 2021
Following the recent government announcement regarding step 4 of the roadmap from 19 July 2021, we are monitoring the changes to industry guidance.
We will adopt a cautious approach and due to the current seven day advance booking period in effect, some changes may not take place until Monday 26 July 2021 at the earliest.

All admissions to our Sport and Fitness Centres are now on a Pay As You Go basis and must be booked and paid for in advance. This is to ensure compliance with social distancing rules, to give customers confidence during their visit and to and keep within our reduced attendance allowances. We thank you in advance for helping us to make each visit as safe as possible for our customers and staff.
Gym, swim and group exercise class
Gym*, swim** and group exercise class bookings can be made up to seven days in advance.
We are pleased to confirm that Family Swim bookings may now be made by phone up to 10 days in advance for sessions in the Learner/Teaching pools at Teddington Pools and Fitness Centre and Pools on the Park. This will enable families to make bookings further in advance and also help free up the phone lines for weekend bookings.
For gym sessions only: You need to have completed a Pre-Exercise Questionnaire and attended an induction session prior to booking any gym session. If you haven't, please contact us at email@example.com. Gym inductions are compulsory and include a tour and demonstration of how to safely use each piece of equipment.
From Monday 26 July 2021 onwards, gym sessions will no longer need to be pre-booked.
How to book
You can book your class:
- Via the LBRUT Sports App
- Via our online bookings website. View how to book online
- By telephoning the Sport and Fitness Service Phone Hub on 020 3772 2999 (Monday to Sunday, from 8am to 4pm).
* Before you visit your Sports and Fitness Centre ensure that you have read and understand our guidance for pool, gym and studio users.
**Note that junior and children's swimming sessions can only be booked by phone.
Cancel a booking
Non-member 'pay as you go' bookings
Due to limited spaces, if you are unable to attend your booking please notify us on 020 3772 2999 so that someone else can book.
You will receive a refund in the form of a voucher if more than 24 hours notice is given.
All cancellation requests under 24 hours' notice are non-refundable.
Direct Debit and Annual Member bookings
Due to limited spaces, if you are unable to attend your booking please cancel via the App or website up to three hours before the booking.
Get a refund
Refunds will be available providing you have cancelled within the required time frame. This will be given in the form of a voucher. You can then re-book another session by using this voucher. This voucher can be used online, on the App or over the phone on 020 3772 2999.
Hydrotherapy Pool bookings
Advance bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance by calling us on 020 3772 2999.
Pitch and court bookings
These will only be bookable by phone (once the Sports Centres reopen).

Children's birthday parties
Bookings are currently suspended still.
Those who previously held a block booking with us before lockdown will be given priority to book their slot again, once the Sport and Fitness Centres reopen.
