Mosaico is a little and cozy Italian refuge in Whitton, just off the High Street and it's the real Italian flavours in the area. We are serving simple but fresh and good quality food by choosing the produce straight from Italy. You will be won over by our warm and cozy atmosphere, professional and friendly staff and, our amazing chefs, working behind the scenes. The owner, Fabrizo Barile, is from Piazza Armerina Sicily, well known for its beautiful Roman mosaics in the Villa Romana del Casale. With his passion for good food and quality ingredients, Fabrizio likes to make the customers feel at home in a relaxed environment, but at same time deliver a high standard of food and service.     Live Music, complimentary prosecco and a special menu at Mosaico in Whitton on Saturday 8th and 22nd December from 7.30pm. Booking essential to avoid disappointment. Marimba is a local singer from South West London, and has been exposed to a variety of quality music from a young age, as her father’s pride and joy was his great record collection; always playing anything from classical to jazz: Stan Getz, Gilberto Gil, Earth Wind & Fire, Randy Crawford, Quincy Jones, Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Motown, Soul, Funk, Jazz etc. Marimba was part of an 8 piece band for 2 years, one of 2 vocalists siinging Motown & Northern Soul covers eg. Harlem Shuffle, I Can’t Stand the Rain, It Takes Two etc, performing regularly at private functions and parties. She also sings jazz, mostly early jazz covers /standards with a bit of Joni Mitchell thrown in, singing with pianist, sax, double bass and bass guitar. Favourite jazz voice – Ella Fitzgerald. Also part of a disco band singing at private parties and weddings. You can expect to hear songs such as 'When Sunny Gets Blue', 'Manhattan', 'Cry me a River' and other well known standards by George Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, Cole Porter, Antonio-Carlos Jobim etc.

    Featuring Victor Monroe, guitar and vocals and Brian Rhodes on Tenor Sax, clarinet and vocals, the duo first met 23 years ago and have worked throughout France and the UK. Brian played at the Antibes Jazz Festival the year Mile Davis was top of the bill in the 60’s and then had a spell with the Keith Hartley Blues Band.They have become a recommended group for the Jazz FM Radio Station and played on several occasions for the BBC at White City before its closure. Since then they have gathered a large audience of loyal followers at their many venues in SW London, playing a wide range of genre, which includes early to modern jazz, soul, funk blues, Bosa Nova and beyond. Please note bookings are essential.
