Mosaico is a little and cozy Italian refuge in Whitton, just off the High Street and it's the real Italian flavours in the area. We are serving simple but fresh and good quality food by choosing the produce straight from Italy. You will be won over by our warm and cozy atmosphere, professional and friendly staff and, our amazing chefs, working behind the scenes. The owner, Fabrizo Barile, is from Piazza Armerina Sicily, well known for its beautiful Roman mosaics in the Villa Romana del Casale. With his passion for good food and quality ingredients, Fabrizio likes to make the customers feel at home in a relaxed environment, but at same time deliver a high standard of food and service.     Singer and Actress, Viviana was born in Sicily (Italy). She studied singing, acting and dancing at Rome in different schools: "A versatile artist, made her artistic debut at 15. After that she performed in different plays such as: "Funny Love", "Il cielo è sempre più blu","Evita" "Nostos", "L’angelo e la Fiammiferaia", the musical "Cleopatra", "Signori si va in scena" (a tribute to Bob Fosse). In addition she has performed in an international tour (Italy, New York, Berlin and Sao Paulo) in the musical "The Dreamboat". Since 2012 she is based in London, where she has graduated at The American Musical Theatre Academy of London and where she has performed in different plays such as: "Twelve Angry Jurors", "Elegies for Angels Punks and Raging Queen" and "Sweet Charity" directed by Kenneth Avery-Clark. Recently, thanks to her great versatility, she has approached the jazz world, researching common features between jazz music and musicals and taking this stunning experience of contamination between jazz and musical as a starting point, she has developed a innovative repertoire of music and songs recalling the lush sound of the 40s and 50s. For over a year and a half, she is performing at great venues like: Ronny's Scott Bar, Hilton South Bank, Primo Bar Hotel Plaza Westminster, Caffè Concerto, Oliver Jazz Club, Brasserie and Wine Bar Toulouse Lautrec and many others.

    After graduating from the National School of Music in Havana, Cuba, Javier Camilo has been working within the London music scene since 2003. Not only has he played in all the major London venues including Ronnie Scotts, The Jazz Cafe, O2, Royal Albert Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall, he is an in-demand percussionist, vocalist and guitarist. Javier has played with artists including Lokkhi Terra, platinum seller Flo-rida and Grammy-nominated artist The Game. He has toured internationally having played in countries such as Bangladesh, India and Greece and his musical journey into the London music scene has enriched his performance and broadened his musical influences. Javier is no stranger to recording sessions in top London studios and is currently recording his debut album at Music Med Studio.

    7th October - Eleonora Damizia Eleonora is a London pop and jazz singer songwriter with a unique , sultry , sophisticated voice. With her soulful voice , exotic charm and refined movements, she is able to leave the listener simply mesmerized . Originally from Italy, she has put her stamp on the London music scene , having sung at the most important live music venues in London. Her music show has been booked by Royal Albert hall and by many prestigious members clubs in Mayfair ( Tramp members clubs, Homehouse ) and jazz clubs like the Crazy Coqs in Soho. In addition, she has performed several times at the famous Italian Tv channel RAI 2 for an audience of millions of people. Also, her voice has been highly appreciated and celebrated in theatres,  like the huge Butterworth Hall of the Warwick Arts Centre, where thousands clapped with admiration and enthusiasm. Growing up listening to both Italian classical music and American jazz and blues , she will take you to a journey of mediterranean emotions , romantic sounds and pure energy.

    Roberto Manzin is a London-based alto, tenor and soprano saxophones, clarinet, EWI, piano player and composer. He was born in Rome, Italy, and during the 1980s Manzin began playing in several music clubs in Milan, and during the 1990s was part of the Tony Scott Jazz Quintet. Manzin became a successful session player, contributing to seven albums in 1992 alone, with leading Italian artists as well as featuring in several TV commercials. In the late 1990s Manzin migrated to London, where he continued his musical activity. Manzin continues to be a popular session player (he recorded on eight albums in 2010, ranging in style from Pop to Latin, Rock/Blues, Ska and Jazz) and appears in music festivals throughout Europe, as well as performing regularly at many venues in London.

    Marcellus is a guitarist and singer. He studied classical guitar at Chethams School of Music and at the University of York. A few years ago he discovered the music of Brazil and fell in love with the romantic understated bossa nova style which was born in Rio de Janeiro in the ‘60s. He has since gone on to perform the music of Brazil in places as near and far as the Crazy Coqs in Piccadilly, London and the Bar Vinicius in Rio de Janeiro.  When last in Salvador, Marcellus played for Gesse, the widow of the great poet and songwriter Vinicius de Moraes. His guitar heroes include Joao Gilberto, Toquinho, Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil. Marcellus’ repertoire also includes songs from Spain and Italy and jazz from the Great American Songbook.

    Mario Bakuna is a London-based Brazilian composer, singer and guitar player, with over fiftteen years of professional experience. He is a graduate of the Free University of Music in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Whilst there he studied with musicians such as: Olmir Stocker, Roberto Sion and Roberto Bomilcar (pianist who played with Frank Sinatra during his visit to Brazil).Mario has worked alongside the trombonist Itacir Bocato, guitarist Renato Consorte, and other big names from the São Paulo music scene. His study focusses on the development of an instrumental music repertoire; inspired by the greats of Jazz and Bossa Nova.In addition to developing new arrangements of music by enshrined Brazilian artists as Tom Jobim, Paulo Moura, and João Donato, in recent years he has been focussing to reinterpretations of Samba Jazz - a music that emerged in Rio de Janeiro in the 50s and was pioneered by musicians like Luiz Eça, Tamba Trio, Edson Machado, among others. Their repertoire was based on Brazilian standards with more sophisticated harmonies, inspired on the post-Bossa Nova movement.
