Residents are invited to join the Mayor of Richmond upon Thames, Councillor Nancy Baldwin, for a special charity launch reception at the historic Asgill House on Richmond Riverside on Sunday 5 July 2026.
The afternoon reception will mark the launch of the Mayor's fundraising year in support of her chosen charities for 2026/27, Cocoon Care After Care and Skylarks.
The event offers guests the chance to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of one of Richmond's most picturesque venues while supporting two local organisations that make a significant difference to the lives of children, young people and families.
Tickets cost £20 and include a light finger buffet and a complimentary drink on arrival. Guests will also be able to take part in a charity raffle, helping to raise vital funds for the Mayor's charities.
Mayor of Richmond upon Thames, Councillor Nancy Baldwin, said: "I am excited to invite residents, community groups and local supporters to join me for the launch of my mayoral fundraising year. This reception is an opportunity to come together, enjoy a wonderful afternoon in a beautiful setting and support two fantastic charities that do such important work in our community.
"I look forward to welcoming guests to Asgill House and raising funds for Cocoon Care After Care and Skylarks throughout the year ahead."
Cocoon Care After Care supports care-experienced young people as they move into independent adulthood, while Skylarks provides support and opportunities for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs, and their families.
The launch reception is the first of several events the Mayor will host throughout the year to raise funds for her chosen charities.
