  • How many traffic incidents were reported on Burtons Road Hampton Hill in 2022 compared to reported traffic incidents in 2021 and 2019

    The Council only holds information on traffic collisions which result in personal injury. There were no injury collisions on Burtons Road during these periods.

  • What are the monitored pollution levels on Burtons Road Hampton Hill in 2022 compared to 2021 and 2019

  • How many PCNs have been issued in 2022 and the total value of fines received

    8,660 PCN. £553,000. Please note the Burtons Road scheme was never intended to generate revenue, it was delivered in response to local requests for a scheme to address unacceptable levels of displaced non-residential through traffic on Burtons Road, an unclassified residential street. We continue to monitor the scheme and are making improvements to reduce contraventions.

  • How many PCNs have been issued in 2022 to local residents, specifically anyone one that lives in a TW postcode

    Post code TW12 (Hampton); 958 PCN. Total PCN for TW post code (TW1 to TW20 incl.) covering a considerable area; 3,020.

  • How has Richmond Council spent the funds received from the PCNs in relation to Burtons Road.

    Ongoing scheme costs such as the delivery of improvements to the scheme, Officer time including back office administration and operational management of the scheme, camera equipment costs and continued traffic survey data and analysis. In addition, the Council is also developing improvement works in the area including for Links View Road and Albert Road, the Windmill Road area improvement scheme including measures to improve safety around Hampton Hill Junior School, safety and speed management measures for Park Road, and commissioning a review of the Park Road traffic signals to improve capacity.
