Hazard
The affected products present a risk of injuries as it has been identified that some recently produced products do not perform their blocking function. This is because some of the ropes were mounted incorrectly in the rope adjuster.

The affected products do not meet the requirements of the Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on Personal Protective Equipment or the Personal Protective Equipment (Enforcement) Regulations 2018.

Corrective action
Petzl have published a safety alert to request inspection of the affected products.
