Hazard
The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the transformer was of a poor build quality and did not meet the requirements for creepage and clearance. The product also has poor internal build quality as it featured poor quality soldering with wires soldered directly to component legs. The trigger switch did not have any EU approval markings, and there was no thermal protection present in the battery.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.

Corrective action
Destruction of the product.
