A black plug / wall charger in black cardboard packaging

Hazard
The product presents a risk of fire and electric shock as it does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. The ISOD pin is below the minimum permitted tolerance and the neutral pin sleeve is in excess of the maximum permitted tolerance. Short pins can cause arcing and sparking in the socket, potentially resulting in a fire. Oversized pins can damage a socket and result in a poor-quality connection thereafter.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Corrective action
