Hazard
Due to a manufacturing fault, the detachable batteries have the potential to overheat, melt, smoke and may pose a fire hazard. Anker Innovations have initiated a replacement programme for their 22D51 batch of detachable batteries.

The affected batch of the product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Corrective action
Warning consumers of the risks. Modification programme.
