Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of fire and electric shock as the plug does not meet the constructional or dimensional requirements of BS 1363. The live and neutral pins were found to be too close together, and too close to the periphery of the plug. As the plug does not make a proper connection with the socket, it could overheat and cause a fire. The user could also receive an electric shock when inserting or removing the plug from the socket. Improvements are required to the product?s markings.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Corrective action
The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon).

We recommend owners stop using this product immediately. Contact the distributor you purchased from to request redress.
