Product description       
Inflatable life jackets and their hydrostatic rearming kits. The recall applies to life jackets fitted with a Hammar MA1 hydrostatic inflation system assembled with an ISI CO2 cylinder along with associated rearming kits.

Hazard
The product presents a risk of drowning as the inflation time is over five seconds, which is greater than the maximum time set in the relevant standard. The vest may slowly deploy when required, which presents a risk of drowning.

The product does not meet the requirements of the PPE Regulation 2016/425.

Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users. Owners must stop using the product immediately, and contact the distributor they purchased from for further instructions.
