A grey hot water cylinder with a white box saying 'victorum' on the front and external piping.

Hazard
It has been identified that if there is a loss of water from the system, the back-up heater can continue to rise in temperature, causing the hot outer insulation material to break down. This could potentially lead to a fire.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users and consumers warned of the risk.

Affected customers should be contacted to have a qualified engineer visit their home to perform a software update to the heat pump.
