Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as there is no shutter on the connector preventing access to live parts. The DC output on the connector apparatus measured 0 mm, it should be at least 0.2 mm. When probe tests were performed, probe V1 touched live parts. No instructions were provided with the product to ensure the safe installation and use and the CE marking measured only 3.79 mm, below the minimum requirement of 5 mm. Some of the required documentation and markings were not present.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Corrective action
The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (AliExpress).

We recommend owners stop using the product immediately. Contact the distributor you purchased from to request redress.
