Hazard
The product presents a high risk of electric shock as it was found that the metal parts of the product which are suspended from the chain are not reliably earthed. The insulation was also at risk of failure as it had not been protected from the sharp edges where the wiring passes through, which can allow the support chains to become live.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
