Pay as you go sports and fitness memberships

We have partnered with Greenwich Leisure Limited, allowing residents to book classes and activities under the ‘Better’ brand - bringing bookings, payments, and memberships together in one place.

You can now buy a pay as you go membership for use at our leisure centres with Better. This membership lets you enjoy your local facilities without committing to a monthly plan. It's a great way to try new activities and save on prices at all our centres.

Memberships options

Resident categories are available to those who live in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

Pay as you go membership categories are available to those living outside of the borough.

The junior resident and pay as you go junior memberships are available to young people aged 0 to 18 years (or 0 to 25 years if you have a disability).

Concession membership criteria

Our concessionary memberships are designed to make sport and fitness more accessible for everyone.

Adult concessionary resident 

Part of the Fairer Access Scheme, this membership provides discounted or free access to selected activities at our sports and fitness centres for eligible Richmond residents.

Junior concessionary resident 

Also part of the Fairer Access Scheme, this membership provides free general swimming and discounts on junior coached activities for children whose parents have an adult concessionary resident membership.

How to apply

To apply for a membership, select your preferred home site from the list of centres and follow the 'join' link.

Your membership gives you discounts at all six leisure centres, not just your chosen home site.

These centres are now managed by Greenwich Leisure Ltd under the Better brand:

• Teddington Pools and Fitness Centre
