The health bus offers free health and blood pressure checks and stop smoking advice.

COVID booster vaccinations
Residents aged 75 years and above are eligible for a free COVID booster vaccination, no appointment required.
Getting vaccinated is one of the most effective ways to protect yourself and others, helping reduce the severity of illness and lowering the risk of hospitalisation.
Free NHS Health Check
The NHS Health Check is a free 20-minute check-up of your overall health, for those aged 40 to 74. Eligibility criteria apply.
It can tell you whether you're at higher risk of getting certain health problems, such as heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease and stroke.
Free blood pressure checks
Get your blood pressure checked and questions about medications answered by a local pharmacist, plus plenty of valuable healthy living tips.
Stop smoking support tailored to you
Our friendly Stop Smoking Service offers advice, support, and access to stop smoking medications. As part of the Swap to Stop Scheme we also offer free vape kits with supplies for up to 12 weeks.
Evidence shows that people are more likely to succeed with professional support - don’t go it alone! If you can't attend a bus, you can contact the Stop Smoking Service to discuss what support will work best for you.
