This peaceful haven for wildlife and people alike is hidden within the residential streets of Kew. Previously an orchard and market garden until it was converted into a community wildlife area.
Visiting the park
Pensford Field has free access from 9 to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
For access outside those times, contact info@doseofnature.org.uk for the padlock code.
North Sheen and Kew Gardens stations are nearby. The area is served by bus routes 190, 419 and R68.
About the park
Pensford Field is managed by Dose of Nature, a charity established to promote the mental health benefits of engaging with the natural world.
This small 0.7ha site hosts habitats including grassland, woodland and a pond.
