North Sheen Recreation Ground

The park was originally opened in June 1909 as part of an orchard belonging to the Popham Estate.

About the park

The park has many facilities including football pitches, paddling pool and play facilities for all ages across two play areas, with a wheelchair accessible roundabout and interactive play panels.

There is a large dog-free grass area in the north west corner - perfect for lounging on a sunny day.

There are also toilets and changing facilities.

Visiting the park

North Sheen Recreation Ground is locked at night. See parks opening times for information about when the park is accessible.

North Sheen station is nearby and the area is served by bus routes 190, 419 and R68.

All council-managed parks and open spaces are covered by Public Space Protection Orders and formal byelaws, to help us reduce antisocial behaviour and breaches of dog control orders.
