Parking charges review 2026

We carry out annual reviews of our parking charges. 

How we decide our charges

We take into account factors such as:

• Charges in other boroughs
• The current rate of inflation
• Whether the level and structure of parking charges reflects our policy on encouraging the use of more sustainable forms of transport such as cycling and walking

We also aim to recover the cost of the service provision, so there is no need for further taxpayer subsidy.

Changes this year

Following this year's review, new parking charges were implemented on Monday 6 July 2026.
