Crane Community Centre venue hire

Suitability

Crane Community Centre is a modern purpose built hall with good quality facilities is suitable for the following functions:

• Meetings
• Children's parties
• Community events
• Small family functions

Availability

Crane Community Centre is available for hire:

• Monday to Sunday - 9am to 11pm

The hall is not available to hire on bank holidays.

Layout and amenities

The hall is 7.9 metres by 7.6 metres and can hold 25 seated theatre style and 29 seated at tables and chairs (each table measures 2ft 6 by 2ft 6). 

Bringing equipment

You are permitted to bring items of play equipment on to the property but do so entirely at your own risk. No liability will be accepted by the council in respect of claims arising from loss or damage to privately owned equipment or arising from its use.

No personally owned items of play equipment must be allowed to block doorways, passageways, entrances and exits and the hirer is required to remove any item of equipment we consider to be causing an obstruction or hazard.

Catering and kitchen facilities

External caterers are welcome.

Tables and chairs

Tables and chairs are provided but you, or your caterer, will need to provide all the linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking/serving utensils.

Kitchen facilities

There is a small self catering kitchen available.

Facilities available:

• A kettle
• Small fridge
• Sink
• Small domestic oven
• Work surface space

Serving alcohol

You are welcome to provide alcohol to your guests free of charge and we do not charge a corkage fee. The sale of alcohol is not permitted on site. If you are organising a charity event contact us for information on a Temporary Event Notice.

Whitton Station is a 10 minute walk away.

There is public pay and display parking on the main road outside of the centre.
