For centuries, artists have attempted to capture the effects of light - from the dramatic chiaroscuro works of 16th century artist Caravaggio, to the colourful, vibrant plein air oils of the 19th century French Impressionists.

About the exhibition

This open exhibition brings together contemporary artists working in a range of media who examine and explore the interplay and effects of light in art.
