The aim of this quirky open exhibition is change the public’s perception of this marginalised medium and to conceptually take wood out of the garden shed, the craft fair and the new age festival to showcase the skill, efforts, talent, imagination and innovation involved.

About the exhibition

Artists and makers from across the UK have submitted a variety of items - from the sacred to the secular - including furniture, pyrography (wooden items created with fire), turned wood, carvings, whittled objects, treenware, boxes, clocks, relief carvings, marquetry, misericords and ecclesiastical objects for this exciting exhibition.
