Richmond Code Club
Richmond Code Club is free and open to young people aged 7 to 17 with sessions on Scratch, HTML, Python, and using micro:bits.
Code Club monthly sessions
Code Club runs from September to May each year, to meet demand during the school year.
Sessions are in person at Richmond Old Town Hall, on the fourth Saturday of each month from 11am to 1pm.
Code Club is currently on a break and will resume on Saturday 27 September 2025.
Sessions are free but please book your space in advance. For more information or to register your interest as a volunteer, visit the Code Club website.
Code Club is an open source, volunteer-led global movement running free coding clubs for children and young people. At Code Clubs, young people learn how to develop websites, apps, and games, or program robots and other electronic devices. Code Clubs are set up and led by volunteers but are part of the Raspberry Pi Foundation. In addition to learning to code, members meet like-minded people and share their coolest projects with 'show and tell' sessions. Our aim is to make development and learning to code a fun and sociable experience.
Volunteer
We always need volunteers who have computer coding knowledge, so if you feel that you might be able to be a volunteer mentor please email us at libraries@richmond.gov.uk with details about your coding skills and availability.
