Getting a Warm Home Pack
If you have received a letter from the Council, you can collect a free Warm Home Pack at the event. Packs contain a choice of practical energy-saving items, including draught-proofing materials, radiator foil, LED light bulbs and water-saving devices. Combined, these items could save a household of four up to £250 per year on energy bills.
If you have not received a letter, CREW Energy’s advisers can assess your eligibility for a Warm Home Pack at the event. For eligible residents, CREW also offers home visits and may provide free items, such as electric blankets, depending on individual requirements.
Councillor Julia Neden-Watts, Chair of Richmond Council's Environment, Sustainability, Culture and Sports Services Committee, said, “With energy bills still high, it’s more important than ever that we support residents to stay warm and well this winter. We have expanded this event to offer even more practical advice and support, particularly for older residents. Please come along and invite friends and neighbours who may benefit from the help available.
If you cannot attend
If you have received a Council letter but cannot attend the event, you can collect a Warm Home Pack from Twickenham Civic Centre Reception, Hampton Library, Whitton Library or Castelnau Library from 9 November, while stocks last.
