Free community film screening about climate change

Worried about the extreme heat, drought and wild-fires we’ve seen this summer? Come to a free community screening of a striking film about climate change at 7pm on Friday October 23, at Whitton Community Centre.

This summer has been the hottest in living memory with numerous records broken for prolonged heat and lack of rain. Scientists agree this is the result of man-made climate change.

Based on leading scientific research, the People’s Emergency Briefing film seeks to fill the information gap on the climate crisis left by the country’s leaders.

It shows how climate change is impacting all areas of British society from food prices to the nation’s health, both now and in the future.

This screening, hosted by Richmond Climate Coalition, is aimed at the people of Whitton. It will be followed by a guided discussion on the issues raised. Everyone is welcome.
