Help shape the support in Richmond for those impacted by neurological conditions

22 September 2025

Do you have experience living with a neurological condition, caring for someone who does, or work with people impacted? We’d love to hear from you.

We are inviting residents to share their lived experiences with any neurological condition such as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke, migraine, epilepsy and neurological trauma.

We’re interested in hearing about your journey from diagnosis to daily life, the support available for memory, thinking, and communication, what carers and staff need to feel supported, the language used to describe conditions, and experiences around planning ahead and end-of-life care.

The information gathered will help build a clearer picture of local needs. It will be used to make recommendations and help inform future strategies to improve support and services.

Join a small discussion group

On Monday 29 September, from 1.30 to 3.30pm, local charity Integrated Neurological Services invites people living with neurological conditions and unpaid carers for those with neurological conditions (current or previous) to join a small group discussion in a welcoming space and share your views.

Each session will include up to 12 people living with neurological conditions and up to 12 carers. Register for the focus group online.

Take part in a self-completed survey

Additionally, we also invite people living with neurological conditions, unpaid carers (current or previous) and staff working with people living with neurological conditions in health, social care or the voluntary sector to share your thoughts in writing.

The survey opens on Monday 22 September and closes on Friday 19 October.
