Barnes Common Autumn Fayre

To celebrate Apple Day and all things autumn, we invite you to join us for the Barnes Common annual Autumn Fayre, a community event for all on Saturday 17 October 2026.

Bring your apples for juicing in a traditional apple presser. Don't worry if you don't have an apple tree, there'll be apples available for you!

There'll also be a range of other fun stalls and activities including:

• Fungi and nature walks
• Family activities
• Sustainable marketplace
• Pumpkin decorating
• Nature table
• Conkers competition
• Our important machines
• Pizza, cakes and snacks

Fees apply to some walks and activities, and tickets can be purchased on the day (card and cash accepted) or in advance via Eventbrite.

Entry to the Fayre is free but please consider donating to support our activities. As a small charity, we rely on the generosity of our supporters, for which we are hugely grateful. Your donations, however big or small, make a difference and enable us to further our vision to provide a flourishing network of green, blue and dark spaces within our local, urbanised environment, where both wildlife and local communities thrive.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.

This is a busy event with children and food, so not ideal for dogs. Please keep your dog on a short lead if you decide to bring them.

All activities meet at the Vine Road Recreation Ground near the Pavilion. Find all the Autumn Fayre events and tickets on Eventbrite and our website.
