The new ferry 'Richmond' enters service

On Wednesday 4 October, the new car ferry across Lake Constance entered service between Konstanz and Meersburg.
The huge state of the art, environmentally friendly ship was christened 'Richmond' by the Mayor of Richmond upon Thames Councillor Suzette Nicholson in June this year.
With the Alps as a dramatic backdrop, the 20 minute crossing is one of the most beautiful in the world, experienced by over four million passengers per year. Read more details about the new ferry.
