Autumn Nations Cup at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham
Community news on behalf of RFU | 5 November 2026
This year, Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, will host the usual four autumn international fixture weekends. However in a change to the usual programme, the final weekend will see three double-headers, on Friday 27 (evening), Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November 2026.
This inaugural finals weekend is being hosted here in Twickenham, however it will move around the world in future years and will not be a permanent fixture in the local calendar.
Next year there will be no autumn matches as the Rugby World Cup takes place in Australia, so this will be an important test for all the teams competing ahead of 2027.
We will not know the teams playing each other in any given match on that weekend, as their rankings will not be known until the third week of the series (21 November). All residents can access tickets by logging onto the England Rugby website.
Match timings and details:
- Sunday 8 November: England v Australia, 3.10pm
- Saturday 14 November: England v Japan, 4.40pm
- Saturday 21 November: England v New Zealand, 2.10pm
- Friday 27 November: Nations Cup Finals Day 1, 4.40pm and 8.10pm
- Saturday 28 November: Nations Cup Finals Day 2, 1.10pm and 4.40pm
- Sunday 29 November: Nations Cup Finals Day 3, 1.10pm and 4.40pm
Whitton, Rugby and London Roads are likely to close two hours before kick off, and will reopen at the kick off time. They will then close again around 90 minutes later for between two and three hours.
For the matches on 27, 28 and 29 November, the road closure times ahead of the match will depend on when the patrons arrive. If there is a steady arrival over both matches, closures may be avoided, but please check on the day on our Allianz Stadium Residents WhatsApp Group and on X/Twitter @rfuhometurf.
