Discover over 90 community toilets when you’re out and about this festive season
19 November 2025
This World Toilet Day, we are proud to share our progress in making clean, free toilets more accessible to all.
With now over 90 locations in our Community Toilet Scheme across the borough, our goal is to ensure that you can find a loo while enjoying our public spaces and town centres.
Businesses who are part of the scheme allow people to use their toilets free of charge during the premises' opening hours. This means you don't need to make a purchase. Keep an eye out for the Community Toilet Scheme window sticker at participating locations or ask when you visit a local business, restaurant or café in the borough.
56 of the toilets in the scheme are accessible and wheelchair-friendly, with features such as step-free access, wide doorways, and support rails. We’re working with local businesses to identify the available facilities to meet a range of needs, so everyone can feel confident and comfortable using them.
