Richmond Shakespeare Society to perform comedy play this festive season

The All-Female Pallas Players, a touring troupe, present their retelling of ‘Whisky Galore’ by Compton Mackenzie.

The tale mirrors the true story of the whisky-filled shipwreck on a remote Scottish island, where the ‘golden dram’ supply has dried up due to the war. 

Adapted for the stage by Philip Goulding, come along and watch this heartwarming, comedy tale at the Mary Wallace Theatre, The Embankment, TW1 3DU.

Performances take place from Saturday 9 to Saturday 16 December 2023.
