Give the gift of wellbeing this Christmas
Community news on behalf of Love Me Programme | 29 November 2023
The Love Me Wellbeing Programme, a community project which has benefited greatly from the support of the Active Richmond Fund this year, has so far helped over 80 women, aged 18 to 75+, enhance their mental and physical wellbeing and would love to help even more.
The project is aimed at those who may be struggling financially, dealing with illness, experiencing low moods, a family breakdown or bereavement, managing life as full-time carers and more. It provides the opportunity to improve mental and physical health by: reducing stress and anxiety, increasing positive emotions, and enhancing confidence and self-worth.
The six-week programme, which runs at LiveWell Kew, focuses on seven wellbeing steps and utilises a broad range of evidence-based activities including simple dance movement, calming breathe and stretch, inspiring crafting and more.
The sessions are led by a team of nine highly experienced women who are passionate about impacting their community.
The programme offers free, sponsored, subsidised and social prescribing places. If you would like to enhance your mental and physical wellbeing, or are struggling in this season, you are not alone.

The project is currently seeking funding and support to enable it to continue running in the new year. A crowdfunding campaign has been set up for the local community to show support this Christmas.
