The new club making fencing available for all

ZFW Richmond Fencing Club believe fencing should be for everyone. Too often seen as an elitist sport, many children from working-class backgrounds never have the opportunity to experience it.

Club coach, Peter Barwell, knows first-hand how life-changing fencing can be. Coming from a working-class background himself, he is passionate about making the sport accessible to all.

The club's mission is 'fence, fun and friendship', aiming to create an inclusive club where everyone has the chance to discover, enjoy, and succeed in this incredible sport.

Based at Buckingham Primary School in Hampton, sessions take place on Saturdays and Sundays both in group and 1-2-1 settings.
