Enjoy Joseph K and the Cost of Living at Mary Wallace Theatre

From Saturday 31 May, join Richmond Shakespeare Society for a bold and witty reimagining of Kafka’s The Trial, written by Emily White and directed by Maxina Cornwell.

In this adaptation, the character of Joseph K is split into four diverse characters, each facing parallel experiences and all battling to survive the nightmares within the big bureaucratic machine. The play will explore themes of discrimination, injustice and survival, all while maintaining a sharp wit.
