Explore what’s on to celebrate Twinning Reaffirmation Weekend
8 May 2025
Get ready to immerse yourself in the festivities and join the fun as we mark 65 years of our European partnerships with Konstanz in Germany and Fontainebleau in France.
To honour the 65th anniversary of our international partnerships, local societies, organisations, clubs and networks have partnered with peers in our twinned towns to organise over 50 borough-wide activities.
While most of the celebration will take place over the Twinning Reaffirmation Weekend from 6 to 8 June, some activities have kicked off, with more events to continue later on in the summer through to the end of July.
Our Twinning Reaffirmation Event Map is now available online, and you can pick up paper copies at Twickenham Civic Centre, York House, the Visit Richmond kiosk in Richmond Station and at our 11 local libraries. Find out more about the Twinning Reaffirmation.
