Explore accessibility at bus garage access day

Local charity Ruils Independent Living is hosting a free bus garage access day on Friday 16 May for residents to explore accessible facilities on public transportation.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet bus drivers and take a trip on their buses, learn about a range of built-in accessibility and safety features within the buses, tour the control room at the depot and receive a free Hidden Disabilities sunflower lanyard.

Everyone is welcome, especially disabled individuals, carers and those with mobility needs. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to learn, explore and have fun!

To accommodate all visitors, the venue is fully accessible and a BSL interpreter will be provided.

Ruils Independent Living is a user-led charity supporting disabled children and adults and people with long term health and mental health conditions to live independently. The charity provides information, advice, advocacy, befriending and activities to residents in need.
