From job search to job offer with Richmond Work Match

Our free service offers tailored guidance, access to local vacancies, and one to one support to help people move forward with confidence.

One recent success story highlights how effective this personalised approach can be. After applying for several jobs independently, local resident Kevin was referred to Richmond Work Match by Twickenham Jobcentre. From his first appointment, our team worked closely with him to identify suitable opportunities and prepare for each stage of the application process.

Kevin was put forward for three vacancies, resulting in two interviews. Throughout this journey, he remained motivated with ongoing support from the Work Match team. Each interview offered valuable experience, helping him build confidence and strengthen his skills.

His perseverance paid off when the third vacancy led to an immediate job offer.

Kevin is now proudly working as a cleaner with Royal Mail’s Property and Facilities Solutions team. After just over a month in the role, he is enjoying the work, settling in well, and has been warmly welcomed by the friendly postal staff.
