Free MMR vaccine walk-in clinic available Saturday

14 March 2024

This Saturday 16 March 2024, Hampton Wick Surgery is offering walk-in Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) vaccine appointments to residents who are registered with a Richmond Upon Thames GP.

The walk-in clinic will take place from 9am to 4pm at Tudor House, 26 Upper Teddington Road, KT1 4DY.

You do not need an appointment to attend the clinic, but please ensure you bring proof of vaccinations or your child’s red book. If you are unsure if you or a child are up to date, you can check the red book or GP records.

As measles cases continue to rise in south west London, it is important to make sure that you and your family are protected against becoming seriously unwell with measles by checking you are up to date with your MMR vaccines.

The first vaccine is typically given at age one year, and the second at age three years and four months. However, if you have missed any doses, even into adulthood, it is not too late to catch up.
