Employ Richmond brings together nearly 500 residents for career support
1 July 2026
On Friday 26 June, as we marked National Employability Day, nearly 500 residents and 30 local organisations came to Richmond Little Green for Employ Richmond 2026 to explore recruitment opportunities, career support and training opportunities.

Cllr Phil Giesler, Business and Growth Lead Member, said:
āIām delighted to see a record breaking number of residents here today.
The annual event shows the strength of our community and our shared commitment to helping people find the right opportunities to grow and develop in their careers.ā
Throughout the Employ Richmond job fair, our Work Match team provided personalised career guidance from refining CVs to navigating job searches, applications and interviews. The support helped attendees connect directly with employers and access tailored advice on progressing into work.

Nabil, one of the exhibitors from local estate agency Savills, said, "The quality of candidates today really were amazing. People came in with CVs and some previous experience already, which was a real bonus. I can't wait for the next Employ Richmond event."
