Free career support for Richmond residents

Whether you're looking to re-enter the workplace or seeking a career change, local charity Room for Work offers free career support delivered in Richmond Town Centre.
Step into a welcoming environment, surrounded by motivated peers and guided by experienced professionals. Benefit from personalised mentoring and ongoing career coaching, designed to rebuild your confidence and equip you with the tools you need to re-enter the workforce.
The 12-session programme is for skilled workers aged 40+ with previous work experience that could range from administrative to managerial and professional roles.
To attend, participants will need:
- A laptop or tablet
- Access to the web
- A good working knowledge of English
- Basic computer skills
Richmond Town Centre classes are held on Tuesdays from 10am to 12.30pm, at Duke Street, Quadrant Road TW9 1DH. The programme starts on 13 January 2026 and runs until 1 April 2026.
This course is funded by the Richmond Foundation.
