Local charity Richmond Carers Centre has been awarded the highest level of the Improving Quality Standard, highlighting the charity’s commitment to continuous improvement.

Richmond Carers Centre has been fully accredited at the Progression level of the Improving Quality Standard, which is the highest level of the framework.

The external assessor found that Richmond Carers Centre meets every requirement across all four elements of the Standard:

• Accountable: Good governance, leadership and management
• Welcoming: Involving service users, managing and developing staff and volunteers, equality and diversity and working with others
• Effective: Refers to the services that an organisations provides and the planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation that the organisations carries out
• Sustainable: How the organisation manages, risk, money and the resources to make service delivery happen
