Interfaith gathering to strengthen community wellbeing

Community news on behalf of Multicultural Richmond | 12 February 2026

Residents across Richmond are warmly invited to attend an upcoming interfaith gathering hosted by Multicultural Richmond.

HALO is a leadership and wellbeing initiative that brings together faith and belief leaders, community representatives, and those interested in strengthening connection across cultures. The space recognises that many community leaders are often at the forefront of supporting others, and offers a reflective environment where experiences can be shared, relationships nurtured, and confidence strengthened in responding to mental health and wellbeing needs.

The next session, From Shared Wisdom to Meaningful Action, will explore what communities may be carrying as the year unfolds and how collaborative, realistic responses can be developed at a local level. The gathering will also include a brief moment of reflection acknowledging the season of Ramadan, encouraging cultural understanding and respectful dialogue.

Whether you are part of a faith community, support community wellbeing, or simply have an interest in interfaith connection, you are welcome to join this thoughtful and inclusive conversation.

The session will take place on Tuesday 25 February from 2.30 to 4.30pm at Multicultural Richmond.
