Fair Access to creative work experience for year 10s this Sunday

Community news on behalf of Landmark Arts Centre | 26 February 2026

Many students fail to find work experience placements, missing out on opportunities that grow skills, prospects, and ambition. This Sunday, Landmark Arts Centre is doing something about it.

Fair Access is a free drop-in event for year 10 students, open between 1 and 5pm. Staff from the Landmark will be on hand to answer questions about work experience and careers in the arts, joined by colleagues from Orleans House Gallery and the Museum of Richmond.

Students can arrive at any point, ask questions, and leave when they’ve learned enough.

Harper Ray, Director at Landmark Arts Centre, knows first-hand why access matters: “Like many young people, I had no family connections to open doors in the industry I wanted. A teacher helped me get relevant work experience and changed the direction of my life. I want to give young people the confidence and connections to build creative careers. That starts with fair access to creative and cultural work experience.”

Book your place, or just turn up.
