Richmond GP Alliance offering additional clinics for MMR vaccines

Community news on behalf of Richmond GP Alliance | 20 February 2024

On Sunday 25 February, the Richmond GP Alliance will be offering additional Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) vaccine appointments to residents registered with a Richmond upon Thames GP.

As measles cases continue to rise in south west London, it is important to make sure that you and your family are protected against becoming seriously unwell with measles by checking you are up to date with your MMR vaccines.

The first vaccine is typically given at age one year, and the second at age three years and four months. However, if you have missed any doses, even into adulthood, it is not too late to catch up.

To support residents who would like to catch up on missed doses, the Richmond GP Alliance will be offering additional appointments this Sunday 25 February at a local pop-up clinic

Residents can book an appointment to attend the hub through the GP practice they are registered with.

If you are unsure if you or your child are up to date, check your child’s red book or GP records and make an appointment to catch up on any missed doses.
