Movement, fun and connection to kick off the new year

19 December 2025

Our sports and fitness centres are ready to welcome users back with fitness classes from January 2026. Our Chinese dance class will return in March.

Starting Monday 5 January 2026, fitness classes, junior courses and sessions are back to keep adults and young athletes active.

Adult badminton and pickleball sessions also resume to bring friendly competition to the centres, plus a new Tuesday pickleball session at Hampton Sports and Fitness Centre.

What’s more, our Chinese dance class will return on Tuesdays 7.30 to 8.45pm from 2 March 2026. Come along and brighten your evenings with rhythm and joy. Register your interest by emailing HSFC@richmond.gov.uk.

Christmas openings and bookings

Our centres will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day. Across the rest of the festive period, opening hours will vary, including reduced hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Normal opening hours resume from 2 January 2026.
