Final opportunity to brighten a young care leaver’s Christmas

Local charity Cocoon - Care After Care want your help to bring joy to 55 young people on Christmas Day.

Christmas is a time for being with family. But, for young people that have left the care system and are living alone with no family, it can be a painful reminder of what they don't have. 

With the incredible support of the local community, Cocoon have been providing a welcoming and safe place for care leavers to spend Christmas Day since 2017. Guests will spend the day surrounded by love and care with pampering, entertainment and a traditional Christmas dinner. 

The icing on the cake is the bag of high-quality gifts they go home with, all chosen specifically for them - bought and wrapped with care by their local community.
