Give your clothes a second life at The Fixery

25 August 2026

On Thursday 10 September, our community repair and reuse hub, The Fixery, is partnering with charity retailer TRAID to deliver free clothes repair workshops.

This free community event is your chance to learn how to patch, stitch and darn, helping you mend your clothes and give them a new lease of life.

Bring along one or two items of clothing that need repairing, and the TRAID team will show you how to fix them. You can also explore examples of repaired clothes for inspiration and use the materials provided to practise your new skills.

No previous repair experience is needed, so everyone is welcome.

  • Date: Thursday 10 September
  • Times: 3 to 4pm, 4 to 5pm, and 5 to 6pm
  • Location: The Fixery, Grove Gardens Chapel, Lower Grove Road, TW10 6HP
