Join Lego fans young and old at Brick Tour Twickenham
Community news on behalf of Brick Tour | 2 September 2025
Two lifelong Lego fans and local residents are bringing a special event to Twickenham this autumn to celebrate everything fun about building with bricks!
Lego has been a big part of their lives, not just as a creative outlet, but also as a way of supporting focus and relaxation. They have seen how building helps children practise concentration and enjoy a calming activity.
One of the highlights will be a huge Star Wars-themed creation built by local resident Ho Yin Lou who is only ten years old. Ho Yin spent his summer holidays building a one of a kind Star Wars Lego creation - dedicating hours to creating it. Ho Yin built (with no manual) multiple starships, detailed landscapes, and countless minifigures arranged in Star Wars battle scenes.
Event details
The event is open to all ages and will take place at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, on Sunday 24 October from 10am to 4pm.
From 2pm to 4pm, a quieter session will run to provide a more comfortable environment for children with special educational needs and disabilities, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder or sensory processing needs, along with their families.
The event will include brick building stations, rare retired Lego sets, bouncy castles, face paint, entertainers and one of a kind Lego display creations.
